Stainless Steel Brake Lines
These high performance stainless steel brake lines are D.O.T. certified, they have an extruded PTFE core and a stainless steel wire braided cover. For added protection against abrasion and corrosion, all hoses are available in a clear or black PVC outer cover. Custom colors may be available as a special order
Front Pads – (Rover) Austin Princess, they are an exact match to the original AP Lockheed pads, but it seems only available in Europe. The best pad compound is Mintex M1144 . Because the front brake pads are so critical, the Mintex M1144 product specification is as follows:
Mintex M1144 compound brake pads are designed for fast road use, track day use and hill climb or light race use in light weight cars. They also work very well as a rear pad for saloons and hot hatches where a higher grade front pad is used
- Work very well from cold
- Ideal for lighter cars or as a rear pad
- Low noise
- Good temperature range (up to 500 deg C)
Mintex M1144 brake pads use a non-asbestos compound which maintains a constant friction level over a wide temperature range which makes for consistent braking. They only require a short bedding in process which can be done at the track if required. They are also a low noise pad with medium fade resistance and are an ideal upgrade from standard pads for track day use on lighter or lower power cars.
